Posts: 2928 06/21/09 10:21 PM *"Pupule 4 Chris"*	Tags : None hey guys! so i was inspired by emi's bravery and decided to check out eharmony.com. i haven't had a romantic life in ages, so i figured i'll just try it out for a month or two since nothing else was happening to me out in the "real" world. i haven't told a single soul that i'm doing this! so anyway, i just came back from lunch with this guy. he's very nice but extremely...uh, average. we got along very well and surprisingly i wasn't nervous. but there just wasn't any excitment or fun to our conversation and it was a little odd how much he kept looking at me. and i maybe i've been single for too long so i'm not used to guys being so courteous and nice to me, but there were some small things that he did that made me uneasy. like he wanted to take an olive off my plate, and he wanted to share his dessert. oh, and he was kinda giving me mini life lessons about stuff that i should be doing for myself. all in all, if he wanted to hang out again, that would be fine. but i dunno, i just wasn't feeling it, you know?! ..sigh...i wish i was ballsy-er when i was younger. i could have approached guys and have done all this dating stuff back then and not have to worry about figuring it out now! Bob had a special show tonight where his old friend (and ex-girlfriend!) co-hosted and they talked a lot about dating and being in a relationship. There was a lot of interesting stuff covered and a lot that I could relate to, I think you could as well.

Posts: 2928 06/22/09 2:07 PM *"Pupule 4 Chris"*	oh thanks for the link...i'll try to check it out later this week! as for this guy, i thought and thought about it and the bottom line is, i just didn't have fun, so why put myself through that again? ha ha, i mean he's super nice but that's just not enough for me. oh, there's this other guy that seemed pretty cool...so i stupidly gave him my number. but then he found me on facebook and sends me texts all the time. in fact, he just sent me one not that long ago...at like 7:45 am telling me to have a good day. wtf?! i was gonna put, DUDE you need to chill. but decided not to even respond at all. i'll probably cut him off later this week, LoL. that'll be fun!

My mom was like "just go out with him again, give him another chance, you never know" but I don't see the point in that. If you don't feel it's right it's best to just move on instead of dragging it on and making him think you're interested when you're not. The second guy sounds like a desperate loser. That's a really big turn off when they're that needy from the beginning! Especially when you haven't even met him yet! Big red flag there. As for me, I just found a guy on match that caught my eye. I winked at him...we'll see if he replies.

Posts: 2928 06/26/09 4:42 AM *"Pupule 4 Chris"*	okay, so i told that guy (the one i had lunch with on saturday) that i just didn't think we were a good match. i mean, we got along well and had lots in common, but there was no spark and i didn't think we were vibing, cuz he's kinda shy and i'm a very loud person! lol. i was willing to go out again to give it a try to see how things would be as we got more comfortable with each other, but the more i thought about it there were lots of little things that irritated me. so i told him that i'm a very silly person and that i thought he would do better with somone more mature and had their act together. he wrote back and said that he's got a really playful side and just needs to get to know me better first before he lets loose. and to prove it, he sent me this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p84IadIgmuI apparently he's made several youtube vids, so i browsed through them. i'll admit they're kinda funny and pretty cute, and it gave me a good insight into others parts of his life....but i'm still not interested in seeing him again! lol.

Posts: 2928 06/27/09 11:27 PM *"Pupule 4 Chris"*	lmao! yeah, well, he's WAY skinnier now. anywho, i almost felt bad for not giving him a chance and was thinking about sending him message, but decided not to prolong it. i ended up going out with The Texter. i swear, i was gonna cancel cuz on thursday he kept asking me stuff, and i'm like, DUDE, just wait till we hang out on saturday! then this morning (BEFORE it was even 8:00) he's like, I'm looking forward to our lunch. ugh. i guess i'm big ol' meanie cuz others mayfind that to be sweet, but i just found it to be irritating. as it turns out, i had a nice time and he's actually quite normal! just a very outgoing and friendly guy, hence all the texts. i was super comfortable, and cuz he's from the big island, he's very "local style." i felt like i was talking story with one of my guy friends. no "spark" but worth hanging out again just for fun. the only thing that kinda threw me off is that he seems kinda racist...and his neck is super short, so it looks like his head is just resting on top of his shoulders! lol. oh, i'm sooo picky!
